Guest Capacity	16 guests at the mountain lodge - averaging between 8-12 fly fishing guests.
Access	Included in your package is the spectacular one-hour charter flight from Vancouver, British Columbia to Chilko Lake.
Accommodations	Tsylos Park Lodge has four individual guest rooms and three log cabins all with private baths. The main lodge and dining area has a large stone fireplace, comfortable couches and a beautiful view of the river and mountains. Many evenings are spent on the deck enjoying a cocktail and the great view, while others enjoy the hot tub or spend time with their friends around the fireplace.
Dining	Exceptional meals, fine wines and great companions. Life at the lodge is focused on the great outdoors and the gathering of everyone for meals is a special time to share daily adventures. Breakfasts are a mix of the Canadian big breakfast as well as fresh fruits, cereals and juices. Lunch is spent streamside, or wherever your day has taken you. Dinner is a time to relax, sit back and enjoy a glass of good wine, great food and good companionship. The best way to end a perfect day!

Fishing Information	Tsylos Park Lodge is proud to offer fully guided fly fishing. Whether you are on the river, lake or decided to join a day horseback riding to the top of a mountain, your guide will ensure that your needs are met and that you are safe.
Types of Fishing	You can fish the river a few different ways. You can drift the river in a flat-bottom jet sled, able to motor back upstream at the end of each run. This is a very productive way to fish and can access many shelves not possible by wading. You could also use a McKenzie Drift Boat to float the length of the river, stopping off on shelves and at eddies along the way. This trip allows you to fish some of the faster waters down river and is a beautiful day. Float tubes to drift the upper portion of the river are used as well. This gives the angler complete freedom to float and stop off on shelves where the fish are rising. This is one of the nicest ways to fly fish! Alot of time is also spent wading the shelves along the river, being picked up and moved by your guide. The lake fishing is done in a larger boat where excellent spots are chosen to fish from shore with a stunning mountain back-drop... the lake fishing is also incredible!

Sample Itinerary	On a seven-night package, an angler will be able to fish for 6.5 days. Usually one or two days are spent on the lake and the remainder is spent on the river. Some anglers choose to take one day and ride to the top of Mount Tullin for a view of the amazing mountain ranges.
Additional Info	Being fully guided, Tsylos encourages beginners to experience fly fishing at the lodge. They keep a dozen Sage rods in case you need one or break yours and carry flies and lines as well. You're only asked to bring chest waders or arrange for the lodge to pick some up for you. The lodge guides will assist you in learning how to fly cast, read water, understand insect hatches and trout behaviour, while having a great time on a world-class river!

Rate Plan	Seven-night guided fly fishing package is $3,150 USD per angler. This includes: accommodations, flight from Vancouver to Chilko return, guided river fly fishing, all meals, all other activities, equipment, daily maid service, table wine with dinner, boats and gas. This does not include: fishing licenses, 3.5% GST tax, alcoholic beverages and gratuities.
