Spirit Wind Resort is the ONLY full time Resort/Outfitter specializing in Belize kayak fishing. Their private coral reef island gives access to more than ten miles of unspoiled Mangrove shorelines, grass flats and coral patches. And rest assured... these sparkling "gin-clear" waters abound with bold and hungry fish... Bonefish, Tarpon, Permit, Barracuda, Snapper, Crevalle, Shark and other gamesters are common here. The variety is endless. No two reef fishing trips are ever alike.

The rivers, lagoons and backwaters of the wild and unspoiled coastline offer an entirely different fishing experience. Birds and wildlife of every description are abundant in these quiet waters. But the wily Snook is king here, along with Tarpon, Crevalle, Cubera Snapper and the mighty GOLIATH GROUPER! Spin casting or fly fishing is offered to guests. There is little fishing pressure here. Most of these fish have never even seen a lure or fly! Catches of 20 to 30 fish per day are not uncommon in these "virgin" tropical waters.
