Overview
Operating as a dude and guest ranch and fishing lodge since 1907, Paradise Guest Ranch in Wyoming remains dedicated to the western tradition of offering guests a ranch and fishing vacation with attentive hospitality, rustic elegance and exciting outdoor adventure. All this is included in a setting of unparalleled scenic beauty. Nestled in a scenic mountain meadow, at the junction of meandering trout streams and surrounded by over a million acres of The Bighorn Forest, the riding, fly fishing and hiking opportunities abound. With this kind of elbow room, don't expect to see the same trail twice.
"Give a man a fish, feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, feed him for a lifetime." At Paradise Ranch, this is their philosophy on fly fishing. They take great pride in teaching guests the art of fly fishing and igniting interest in this wonderful lifelong sport.
Paradise Guest Ranch recently expanded their fly fishing program and have a myriad of fishing possibilities to offer guests. Guides are well trained, which means not only can you count on good fishing advice, but also a guide attuned to your enjoyment, comfort and satisfaction.
During your week at the ranch, the ranch offers casting clinics, knot and fly tying classes, and teaches you how to strike, play and properly catch and release fish on private trout ponds. After your start-up lessons, you are free to pursue group guided trips, private guided trips or take off on your own to productive and varied surrounding waters.
For the avid fisherman, they have some exceptional guided trips to offer. The more popular trips include the Blue Ribbon waters of The Middle Fork of the Powder and The Bighorn River in Montana. A favorite trip for guests is the all-day lunch/fishing ride to one of the local high mountain streams or lakes in The Cloud Peak Wilderness.
Cutthroat, Eastern Brook, Rainbow, and Brown trout abound in the waters in and around the ranch. Paradise Guest Ranch would love the opportunity to personally show you the magic of fly fishing.
