Accommodations Guests are housed in 23 cabins in the ranch core along the North Fork Creek. Each cabin has western furnishings and its own comfortable charm. All accommodations have a private bath with a tub/shower combination, and wood and electric heat. Douglas Fir House sits on the hill above the ranch with a beautiful view of the ranch and Lone Mountain. This four-bedroom log house has a living room, kitchen, loft, sauna, and two bathrooms. Luxurious Ridgetop Lodge is located on the ridge above the ranch. Each of the six private guestrooms has spectacular mountain views, private bath and accommodates up to three guests. With its Great Room, hot tub, decks and recreation room with pool table, this distinctive lodge is perfect for groups of friends or family, small conferences and individuals who prefer western elegance in a lodge setting.
Dining Acclaimed ranch meals are served in a beautiful rock/log dining lodge with its charming saloon. During the summer, outdoor barbecues are held several times a week at scenic locations on the ranch. In the winter, guests enjoy a weekly on-the-snow trail buffet lunch and sleigh ride dinner at the North Fork Cabin in the woods. The breakfast buffet features cereals, fresh fruit, juices, hot entrees and homemade breads. Lunch is a hearty buffet with soups, salad bar, hot entrees, and homemade breads and desserts. “Creatively prepared American and regional cuisine” best describes ranch dinners, which feature Montana beef, poultry, seafood, game, vegetarian entrees and nightly specials.

Meeting Facilities The Lone Mountain Ranch is a perfect spot for productive meetings with all of the amenities and recreational opportunities a group could want. They can best accommodate groups of 50 or less. Several meeting locations are available, depending on group needs. Custom team building programs can be arranged as well. The ranch is also a great place for family reunions, with enough activities to please all ages and interests of family members.
Special Entertainment The Ranch Outdoor Youth Adventures Program operates from mid-June until Labor Day. The objective of the Youth Program is for young people to have fun while learning to discover the natural world and developing more self-confidence through planned activities and recreation. Children’s activities start at age four and are planned to suit the abilities and interest of various age levels. Activities may include horseback or pony rides, nature discovery hikes, llama walks, leather craft, animal tracking and casting, overnight camp-out and cook-outs, volleyball, horseshoe pitching, climbing the climbing wall, challenges on the Confidence Course and playing games with newfound friends. Teens may also participate in any of the activities, or they may opt to create their own agenda, including more adventurous hikes or off-ranch activities.

Throughout the week, special evening programs are held in the B-K. It might be a naturalist discussing Grizzly bears or wolves, to a Lewis and Clark presentation or discussion on Native American arts.

This vacation gives you an opportunity to discover and appreciate the natural wonders of the Greater Yellowstone ecosystem. It includes seven nights lodging, airport transfers, three meals daily, barbecues, evening programs, kids' activities, horseback rides any day but Sunday, and your choice of the ranch’s naturalist-guided activities.

Naturalist activities include a Yellowstone tour, canoeing, mountain biking, half and full-day hikes in the Spanish Peaks Wilderness and Yellowstone focusing on geology, wildflowers, birds, trees, history, animals, and geysers.

Rates per cabin range from $2,725 for first adult ($2,095 per each additional adult; $1,375 for children aged 4-5 and $510 for children aged 2-3) to $4,195 for first adult ($2,095 per each additional adult). Shorter stays may also be available, and discounts in early June and September.

Extra cost options include guided fly fishing trips and instruction, massage therapy, and photo clinics and tours.
