Overview

In a virgin and still unexplored landscape with plains, rivers, mountains and fiords you will find Hacienda Tres Lagos (Three Lakes Estate) located between glaciers, ice fields, volcanoes, caverns, waterfalls, snowdrifts and cold forests. The Hacienda owes its name to a privileged location between the lakes: "General Carrera", "Black" and "Bertrand", which are preserved and protected to allow guests to enjoy the experience of being in an unchanged environment. The Hacienda is a beautifully built place respecting the ecosystem of flora and fauna of one of the purest destinations in the world.

The Hotel Hacienda Tres Lagos is located in the Ayséns region of Patagonia in Chile, 274 kilometers south of Coyhaique - the region’s biggest urban center.

The hotel’s design, architecture and decoration are rustic, rural and at the same time elegant - respecting the local integrity. Guests can interact with nature in a quiet and private environment, enjoying the warmth of the service offered by Hacienda Tres Lagos.

Hotel Concept and History
The hotel Hacienda Tres Lagos was born with a concept based on respect and integration with nature, minimizing interfering with its natural surroundings as much as possible.

The Navarrete family makes their dream come true at this place, by showing guests from all over the world the still existing pure and virgin nature - a reality that so many times seems to be forgotten in today's modern and hectic world. The reason for this idea and their special closeness to Patagonia comes in the following story:

“Our family history has always had strong ties to the Patagonia. The main connection was because our father who was spent months in an expedition that had the objective to explore the area in order to find a way to connect the colonizers of the Patagonia. The ancestors of our mother were immigrants of Europe who found their home in Patagonia. Because of the desire to preserve and protect the nature, culture and customs of this region, we place a high value on bringing this closer to our guests and people of all over the world. We learned that the Patagonia was a privileged place on this planet."

Today, guests meet here after a long day of “work” and share a meal with other guests that come back from horse riding, excursions, fly fishing or simply a tour around the lakes, to enjoy a proper meal and to share their experiences with each other.

Traditional bungalows are built with covered adobe, a very common material used by the local colonists. The luxury bungalows mainly bring back the structure of the lampazo, which is lenga wood cut in a rustic way leaving the bark. The colors chosen for the buildings are soft brown and wood for the walls and Marengo for the roofs, losing itself in landscape. During sunset, the constructions blend together with the rocks that surround the lake.

This rescue of the spirit of the Patagonia in the south end of the country, adding the quality of excellent service makes this hotel qualified as a luxury Hacienda. For the people it is always a pleasant surprise to arrive at the hotel and to discover all the marvelous surroundings day by day.
