Nestled in a great stand of pine, birch and aspen, and along the south shore of Gunflint Lake, you'll find charming and comfortable cabins, exquisite food and genuinely friendly and helpful staff, all in a spectacular northwoods setting. The son and daughter-in-law of the founder, Justine Kerfoot, continue a 63-year family tradition of welcoming guests with warm hospitality, gracious charm and casual elegance. Fishing has always played a big role at Gunflint. The clear, rocky lakes, habitat to big walleye, native lake trout and smallmouth bass, have drawn anglers to this north country fishing paradise since the early 1900s. The lodge has a top quality fleet of boats and motors. Every 15-foot boat has upholstered seats and is equipped with a net, minnow buckets, PFD vests and night lights. Motors are new every year. In addition to lake fishing, the connecting waterways offer an opportunity to canoe into the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. It's a unique chance to combine good fishing with the peace and tranquility of a wilderness area set aside for "paddle only" recreation.

Payments Accepted
Reservation Policy
A deposit of $250 is required for all reservations three nights or less. A $500 deposit is required for reservations four nights or longer.
Cancellation Policy
Deposits for reservations cancelled less than 30 days prior to arrival date will not be refunded. Deposits for reservations more then 30 days prior to arrival will get a complete refund of their deposit less a $50 cancellation fee.
