   Overview

Gallatin River Lodge, just minutes from Bozeman, Montana and Yellowstone National Park, is a year round full service fly fishing lodge. The finest, most diverse fly fishing in the world is found just outside the door on the Gallatin, Yellowstone and Madison Rivers, as well as on private streams nearby. The Lodge offers fly fishing guide service, including float trips and spring creek trips during the spring, winter and fall seasons.

Fly fishermen and women from around the world travel to southwest Montana for its exceptional fishing opportunities. Fishing options are endless, but Gallatin River Lodge offers a popular combination to their fishing guests that include floating and wading. Their goal is to provide professional expertise on all of their waters, always keeping in mind that you make the decisions on the type of fishing that you prefer.

The lodge is located on a 350-acre ranch near the Gallatin River. The cedar post and beam building offers spectacular views of five mountain ranges. The landscape is beautiful and unspoiled. A large heron rookery is nearby, with eagles, osprey and sand hill cranes as neighbors. Whitetail deer, beaver, mink, muskrat, fox and pheasant inhabit this riparian treasure. The open valley allows for breathtaking sunsets. The lodge’s private trout pond is just outside the front door and the Gallatin River is simply a ten-minute walk across hay meadows.

The lodge’s year round service includes fine dining, conference, wedding and catering services, and nightly bed and breakfast accommodations in the winter months. Its six suites are perfect for couples or anglers and contain rustic but elegant decor, fireplaces, Jacuzzi tubs, and spectacular views of the mountains and river habitat. A library with many interesting volumes, fly tying table and Morris chairs is open to guests on the second floor. The Great Room with large stone fireplace faces the trout pond and the Spanish Peaks just south of the Lodge. The lodge’s in-house restaurant, the Gallatin River Grill, has earned the reputation as the finest restaurant in the Gallatin Valley and southwest Montana. Come experience it all for yourself!
